Fall Leadership Conference (FLC)
FLC 2026 will be taking place online from November 15 – 22, 2026.
FLC provides an opportunity for members to see where they stand amongst their peers and practice for our main conference, SLC. While everyone is encouraged to participate, FLC is not a qualifier for SLC or ILC. As such, the conference will host only written tests and facilitate submissions/presentations for submission-based events. For any procedural or debate events (including HOSA Bowl), Round 2 will not be conducted at FLC.
Only students who have paid the registration fee can attend the conference. The last day to add new students through the chapter registration portal is October 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. The last day to register, pay, and change your event/teammate information is October 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Late registrations or event changes will not be accepted. You must have the correct number of registered and paid teammates to compete in a team event. Students who do not register with a sufficient number of teammates will be switched to a random individual event.
The submission deadline for events that require a submission is October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Spring Leadership Conference (SLC)
SLC 2027 will be held in-person at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building from March 1 – 3, 2027. This in-person conference is only available for secondary/high school competitors.
SLC is a national competition where students compete in an event of their choice. The top three competitors/teams in each event will be offered the opportunity to compete at the International Leadership Conference (ILC).
Only students who have paid the registration fee can attend the conference. The last day to add new students through the chapter registration portal is January 18, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET. The last day for students to register, change events, and teammate information is January 21, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET. You must have the correct number of registered and paid teammates to compete in a team event. Students who do not register with a sufficient number of teammates will be switched to a random individual event.
The submission deadline for events that require a submission is January 22, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET. Late submissions will not be accepted.
IMPORTANT: The chapter registration portal shows the events the students will be competing in based on the information they provided during registration. If any of this looks incorrect, please reach out to your students before the deadline.
Virtual Spring Leadership Conference (vSLC)
vSLC 2027 will be taking place online from March 1 – 7, 2027.

Competitive Events (Post-Secondary/University Students Only)
The Competitive Events at the virtual conference is COMPETING and RANKING and will include written tests for all applicable events and submissions/live Round 2 presentations for all submission-based events. For any procedural or debate events (including HOSA Bowl), Round 2 will not be conducted at vSLC.
The top three post-secondary competitors/teams from each Competitive Event will be offered the opportunity to compete at the International Leadership Conference (ILC).
The submission deadline for events that require a submission is January 22, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET. Late submissions will not be accepted.
NGL/Cengage Academic Testing Centre (ATC) Exams
This virtual conference will also include COMPETING and RANKING exams for all NGL/Cengage Academic Testing Centre (ATC) Exams offered by HOSA Canada. These events only involve an online written test.
The top three competitors from each ATC Exam will be offered the opportunity to compete at the International Leadership Conference (ILC).
