For the 2025-2026 academic year, the registration fee per student is $150. This fee includes access to study materials for competitive events, allows students to compete in all HOSA Canada conferences (FLC and SLC), allows students to participate in all workshops and seminars, as well as general benefits associated with being a HOSA member which include scholarships, summer research program opportunities, and more. It is free to create and register a chapter with HOSA Canada.
All students must register as part of a School Chapter or Community Chapter. A list of registered chapters will be published on our registration website. Please note that you must register your chapter every year.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, all chapters must be approved by HOSA Canada before being able to register students. It can take up to two business days for the first response (either the approval or a rejection with next steps), so please plan accordingly to meet all deadlines as they will not be extended if your chapter was not approved in time. It is recommended that chapters submit their registration request as soon as possible, even if their student list is not finalized, to avoid any delays.
For chapters to be registered for the Fall Leadership Conference (FLC), they must add all of the students to the chapter on hosa-member.ca by October 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET. This is also the final date for HOSA Canada to receive the payment of any bulk payments or invoices. If mailing in bulk payments, please allow enough time for delivery to meet the deadline. Once students are added to the chapter, they must accept the invitation, register their information, and pay their fee before October 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET to participate in the Fall Leadership Conference (FLC). This is not a qualifying conference and is meant as an opportunity for practice and to see where students stand amongst their peers. Students do not need to register again for the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC), as the registration fee includes both conferences.
If a chapter is created after October 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET, no chapter member will be able to participate in FLC, but can still participate in SLC and attend workshops throughout the year. The deadline for creating new chapters, adding students, and paying bulk payment invoices for SLC 2026 is February 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. The student registration deadline for SLC is February 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

2. Fill in all the information. At the bottom of the form, you’ll find an Email field followed by the Password fields. This will be the login email and password used to access your account. This email can be any email, but we suggest either using the the Chapter Advisor’s email or a generic email for your chapter. Please do not use the Chapter President’s email since they will need to create a separate account to register. No fees need to be paid at this time and you will never be prompted to input any payment details to register your chapter.
3. Upon completing and submitting the form, you will see the following page:
4. Your chapter account is now created and you may confirm the account details by navigating to your ‘Account’ page. No further confirmation will be provided until your chapter account has been approved by HOSA Canada.
5. All chapters will be approved by HOSA Canada before being able to register students. It can take up to two business days for the first response (either the approval or a rejection with next steps). In either case, a follow up email will be sent with the response.
NOTE: If any information related to a chapter needs to be updated after this process, please email info@hosacanada.org.
1. Visit your Accounts page by clicking ACCOUNT on the top bar when you are logged into your account. Click the “Subscriptions” tab in the left menu or visit https://hosa-member.ca/account/?action=subscriptions.
2. You should see the Chapter Account under Membership. Click the three dots on the right (shown in the red box below), then click Student Accounts.
3. Each chapter account is limited to a maximum of 500 members. You will see your account usage displayed at the top.
4. Method 1: Bulk CSV Import (recommended)
A) To register multiple users at once, it is recommended to use the bulk import function at the bottom of the page. Only a MAXIMUM of 200 accounts can be imported at once. You can add additional students (if needed) in another import. Make sure to check the two option boxes (sending new members a password reset link AND sending new members the welcome email). The import CSV template can be found here. IMPORTANT: ensure the username and email fields in the CSV are the SAME.
B) Once you have filled out the CSV with ONLY username, email, first_name, and last_name, upload the file by clicking “Choose File”. Then, click “Upload CSV”. The system will take a moment and a message will appear on top of the page indicating the number of successful and failed imports. Students must reset their password using the password reset link before logging onto their account. For more information, please read the Student Registration Guide.
5. Method 2: Manual Addition (not recommended)
A) Click “Add Student Account” for user information fields to be shown.
B) Once you fill out the information, check the box beside “Send NEW members the welcome email” and then click “Submit”. If you successfully registered the student, a green message will appear saying “You successfully added a student account” and you will see the student’s information listed below. The student should have also received a welcome email which allows them to create their own account. Students must reset their password using the password reset link before logging onto their account. For more information, please read the Student Registration Guide.
C) If a student does not receive a welcome email with a temporary password, they should visit the Login page (https://hosa-member.ca/login/) and reset their password themselves.
6. Other Methods: If custom import solutions are required, please email us at info@hosacanada.org for a solution.
The preferred method of payment is to have each student pay individually, directly through the HOSA Canada registration website. However, some chapters wish to pay for all of their students’ registration fees together or provide a discount to students due to fundraising efforts.
To submit a bulk payment for your chapter, you must first request an invoice from HOSA Canada by clicking here. Please note that it will take up to 72 business hours to generate an invoice for your chapter. The FLC bulk payment deadline is October 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET and the SLC bulk payment deadline is February 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. If your chapter is sending a cheque via mail, please allow enough time for delivery to meet the deadline.
When payment is received, a limited-use coupon code will be generated for your chapter so students can register individually and skip the payment step. Simply paying the invoice is not the same as registering students, as they all must individually register their accounts to choose their competitive event and access the study resources. The coupon code generated for your chapter will expire 30 days after it is sent or on February 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, whichever comes first.
1. To view your chapter members, visit https://hosa-member.ca/account/?action=subscriptions and click the “Subscriptions” tab in the left menu. You should see the Chapter Account under Membership. Click the three dots on the right, then click “Student Accounts”.
2. On this page, you will be able to view each member’s event if they have registered for an individual membership themselves. You can also view their progress in reviewing the online resources by clicking “Course Progress” next to their name.
3. If you need to remove a member from your chapter, click “Remove” next to their username and email. Please only add or remove students accounts when necessary, as multiple changes may cause errors. If intervention from the HOSA Canada team is required to fix an issue, the chapter is subject to a $50 administration fee.
