This fee includes access to study materials for competitive events, allows students to compete in all HOSA Canada conferences (FLC and SLC), allows students to participate in all workshops and seminars, as well as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hosa.org\/membership-benefits\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">general benefits<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> associated with being a HOSA member which include scholarships, summer research program opportunities, and more. It is free to create and register a chapter with HOSA Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All students must register as part of a School Chapter or Community Chapter. A list of registered chapters will be published on our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hosa-member.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">registration website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Please note that you must register your chapter every year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the 2025-2026 academic year, all chapters must be approved by HOSA Canada before being able to register students. It can take up to two business days for the first response (either the approval or a rejection with next steps), so please plan accordingly to meet all deadlines as they will not be extended if your chapter was not approved in time. It is recommended that chapters submit their registration request as soon as possible, even if their student list is not finalized, to avoid any delays.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"1663270927376-c0ccc71d-aa05\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-1663270927376-c0ccc71d-aa05\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Key Dates<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-1663270927376-c0ccc71d-aa05\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"w-message color_red with_icon\"><div class=\"w-message-icon\"><i class=\"fas fa-exclamation\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"w-message-body\"><p>Registration for our 2026 Spring Leadership Conference (SLC) has reached full capacity and is now closed. Although we expanded our conference capacity from last year, due to the increase in venue demand in 2026 and the need to avoid school breaks and holidays, we were not able to match the increased demand for our program. We will be further expanding our capacity for the 2026\u20132027 school year to ensure more interested students have the opportunity to participate. We appreciate your understanding.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-message color_blue with_icon\"><div class=\"w-message-icon\"><i class=\"fas fa-exclamation\"><\/i><\/div><div class=\"w-message-body\"><p>Registration for 2025-2026 HOSA Canada conferences are on a first-come, first-served basis. HOSA Canada reserves the right to close registration earlier than the posted deadlines if capacity for the conference is reached. As such, chapters and students are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For chapters to be registered for the Fall Leadership Conference (FLC), they must add all of the students to the chapter on <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/hosa-member.ca\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hosa-member.ca<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by <\/span><b>October 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This is also the final date for HOSA Canada to receive the payment of any bulk payments or invoices. If mailing in bulk payments, please allow enough time for delivery to meet the deadline. Once students are added to the chapter, they must accept the invitation, register their information, and pay their fee before <\/span><b>October 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to participate in the Fall Leadership Conference (FLC). This is not a qualifying conference and is meant as an opportunity for practice and to see where students stand amongst their peers. Students do not need to register again for the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC), as the registration fee includes both conferences.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a chapter is created after October 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET, no chapter member will be able to participate in FLC, but can still participate in SLC and attend workshops throughout the year. The deadline for creating new chapters, adding students, and paying bulk payment invoices for SLC 2026 is<\/span><b> February 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Each chapter account is limited to a maximum of 500 members. You will see your account usage displayed at the top.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>4. Method 1: Bulk CSV Import (recommended)<\/p>\n<p>A) To register multiple users at once, it is recommended to use the bulk import function at the bottom of the page. Only a MAXIMUM of 200 accounts can be imported at once. You can add additional students (if needed) in another import. Make sure to check the two option boxes (sending new members a password reset link AND sending new members the welcome email). The import CSV template can be found<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hosa-member.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Template.csv\">here<\/a>. IMPORTANT: ensure the username and email fields in the CSV are the SAME.<\/p>\n<p>B) Once you have filled out the CSV with ONLY username, email, first_name, and last_name, upload the file by clicking \u201cChoose File\u201d. Then, click \u201cUpload CSV\u201d. The system will take a moment and a message will appear on top of the page indicating the number of successful and failed imports. Students must reset their password using the password reset link before logging onto their account. If you successfully registered the student, a green message will appear saying \u201cYou successfully added a student account\u201d and you will see the student\u2019s information listed below. The student should have also received a welcome email which allows them to create their own account. Students must reset their password using the password reset link before logging onto their account. However, some chapters wish to pay for all of their students\u2019 registration fees together or provide a discount to students due to fundraising efforts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To submit a bulk payment for your chapter, you must first request an invoice from HOSA Canada by clicking <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/83bBKEcCj1AKf5y89\">here<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Please note that it will take up to <\/span><b>72 business hours<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to generate an invoice for your chapter. The FLC bulk payment deadline is <\/span><b>October 27, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the SLC bulk payment deadline is <\/span><b>February 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If your chapter is sending a cheque via mail, please allow enough time for delivery to meet the deadline.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When payment is received, a limited-use coupon code will be generated for your chapter so students can register individually and skip the payment step. Simply paying the invoice is not the same as registering students, as they all must individually register their accounts to choose their competitive event and access the study resources. To view your chapter members, visit\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hosa-member.ca\/account\/?action=subscriptions\"><span>https:\/\/hosa-member.ca\/account\/?action=subscriptions<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0and click the \u201cSubscriptions\u201d tab in the left menu. On this page, you will be able to view each member\u2019s event if they have registered for an individual membership themselves.
