HOSA Canada Registration
Students must purchase a membership to be eligible to participate in HOSA competitions and attend workshops. As a member, students will get access to study materials for the competitive event in which they have registered to compete as well as US HOSA’s benefits, which include scholarships, summer research program opportunities, and more.
The membership fee also goes towards covering the cost of organizing monthly workshops/seminars and both the Fall and Spring Leadership Conferences.
Registration Instructions
For the 2024-2025 academic year, all students must register as part of a School Chapter or Community Chapter. A list of registered chapters will be published on our registration website for you to verify. If you are unsure if your school has a chapter, reach out to your school’s administration or email us at info@hosacanada.org.
If your school does not have a chapter, you can create a new chapter. To form a new chapter, you need a minimum of five registered students and a teacher advisor. Chapter registration will be on our new registration website.
The Chapter President or Teacher Advisor must create a chapter account before individual students can register. To create a chapter account, follow the instructions on this website. Once students are invited to the platform by the Chapter President or Teacher Advisor, they can follow these instructions for payment and event selection information.
The registration platform will be updated to support team events shortly.
Community Chapters: It is highly preferred that students register as part of a school chapter. If this is not possible, the creation of a community chapter must be approved by HOSA Canada. For approval or inquiries regarding community chapters, please email info@hosacanada.org.
HOSA Canada Fees
To attend FLC, SLC, and HOSA Canada workshops, the total fee per student is $140. This fee includes access to study resources, other benefits associated with being a HOSA member (https://hosa.org/membership-benefits/), and allows students to compete in all HOSA competitions (FLC, SLC, and ILC) and all workshops for the current school year .
Important Dates
If students register before November 4, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET, they can participate in our Fall Leadership Conference (FLC), where they can test out their preparation and see where they rank amongst their peers. Students do not need to register again for the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC), as the registration fee includes both conferences.
If students register after November 4, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET, they will not be able to participate in FLC, but can still participate in SLC and attend workshops throughout the year. The registration deadline for SLC is February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET.
Refunds
HOSA Canada offers full refunds for the registration fee as long as you submit a request prior to the refund deadlines.
