Spring Leadership Conference (SLC)
SLC is a national competition where students compete in an event of their choice. SLC 2024 will be held in-person at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from May 9-10, 2024. Workshops and panels will be taking place on both days.
The submission deadline for events that have a submission will be April 24, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.
The final day to submit new students through your chapter spreadsheet is March 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm. This is the final day to change events, teammate information, and request a refund. Your final invoice will be sent shortly after, and we must receive your payment no later than March 29 at 11:59 pm. You can send a scanned image of the front and back of the cheque to finance@hosacanada.org to expedite the process, and avoid mailing delays. Please do not resubmit already registered students. To change their events and other information, send info@hosacanada.org an email.
IMPORTANT: The registered members tab of your chapter spreadsheet shows the events the students will be competing in, based on the information you submitted to us upon registration. If any of this looks incorrect, send us an email at info@hosacanada.org before March 15.
For Students Registering Independently: The SLC registration/payment/event change/teammate information/refund deadline is March 29, 2024, at 11:59 pm.
The top three competitors/teams from each event will be offered the opportunity to compete at the International Leadership Conference.
