Our opening ceremony consists of keynote speakers from the medical industry. From UHN, to the Government of Ontario, to The Hospital of Sick Children, you cannot miss their presentations on their journey to becoming a medical professional.

Dr. Badiwala has completed graduate training in transplantation and vascular biology research at the University of Toronto and holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Science. He has many publications on topics in cardiovascular science and transplantation and has presented both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Randi Zlotnik Shaul is the Director of Bioethics at The Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Zlotnik Shaul provides ethics consultation services and policy support to individuals and committees within the hospital, teaches health-care professionals and bioethics students, and conducts bioethics research.
Mr. Charnetski serves as Ontario’s Chief Health Innovation Strategist. He most recently worked in the United Kingdom with AstraZeneca, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies.
